EP 34 | La Vie en Rose | Sweden, 2010. Laurent is on his way to meet his uncle Armand de Montbelle for the first time. On the ferry along the picturesque coast, Laurent reminisces about the adolescence in France, when he was fighting bullying and his only confidant was a tree with a soul. Upon arriving on his uncle’s secluded island, Laurent is greeted with bad news.

EP 35 | A sleepless night starts for Laurent. Enveloped by silence and solitude, he finally finds the courage to plunge into his heart and reminisce about his first and only love so far. A charismatic Italian boy in a cul-de-sac, Angelo Vivace dislodges Laurent from his fears and together they will explore beyond the limits of their rural neighborhood and those of their own teenage desires. Translation, fondling, the washing machine, reading, natural pools -- and we arrive at their first kiss.

EP 36 | Time stretches as Laurent carries us back to his adolescence in rural France, where attraction turns into love and kisses into sex. When his reluctant, bisexual boyfriend becomes too hot to handle, Laurent makes an astute coming out. At 16 y.o., it is an strategic move that sets him free and finally immeshes Angelo in their relationship.

EP 37 | at 16 y.o., Laurent and Angelo are in love and already living under the same roof. Life should be a celebration, but instead their household turns into hell when Catherine's new lover joins them. Catherine decides to have a man-to-man conversation with Laurent — believing she can help her son better than any man. Laurent reacts to his boyfriend's father in the worst way possible, and Angelo makes a disastrous coming out NOT.
